Meet The Photographer : Nicole Geri ⤶
Native to Northern Michigan, I grew up playing in the woods, biking to nearby lakes, and foraging for wild berries that surrounded my childhood home. I feel so fortunate for being a Michigander, which has taught me to value the outdoors.
In my photographs I will often immerse my clients in plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers. I also like to take a step back so I can capture the beautiful landscapes that surround us. It's fun to me, getting diverse and creative shots. My photoshoots are adventurous, playful and candid, but don't worry, I'll still get those typical smile-at-the-camera shots too.

My favorite time of the day for a photo session
Sunrise, Sunset and Blue Hour
First of all, scheduling your photo session at these times is only a recommendation, not a rule. We really can shoot at any time of the day or even late into the night. However, the time of day we schedule our shoot plays a huge factor on our final photographs.
Here's a guide to help you choose what time to schedule your photoshoot so I can capture the beautiful photographs you dreamed about.

Planning a photoshoot in Northern Michigan
My go-to locations that incorporate nature
When you book a shoot with me and ask where to go, I may not know right away where we will meet for our photoshoot. I will explore some of my favorite areas and am always on the hunt for new places. I find some pretty amazing spots though, and I can’t wait to share them with you too.
