The Beach House Restaurant on Deer Lake was the perfect location for Colleen and Jay’s surprise elopement.
Colleen and Jay knew they didn’t want a big wedding day so this worked out perfectly. They kept things simple by setting a day, then getting an officiant, and finally a photographer. They planned out a trip to a beautiful location, then didn’t tell the kids that they were going to elope on the family vacation until the day of their planned event. While they were surprised, they were happy and this day just kept getting better and better from there. They had a small ceremony at the Beach House Restaurant overlooking Deer Lake. In attendance was 6 of them in total with their kids’s 2 friends also there.
