Lucy and Clayton got married on a beautiful summer day at Jacob’s Farm just outside of Traverse City.

This was my first time at Jacob’s Farm, and I loved photographing this fun wedding. Lucy and Clayton got ready at Airbnb’s near each other. Once they were dressed, they shared a first look overlooking the lake. These two were so happy to see each other, tears were even shed, I knew it would be a good day.

Jacob’s Farm has a beautiful wedding venue space. They had their ceremony in the woods, which was a short tractor ride down a dirt road, past the orchards, and fields. Before being seated for ceremony, guests were treated to apple cider or water as refreshments. The sunlight was streaming through the trees, casting a magical flare above the couple and guests. Lucy and Clayton’s love was affirmed through Jewish traditions during their ceremony. They then said “I do,” and everyone headed back to the barn to celebrate the newly weds.

Jacobs farm wedding receptionThe reception space was beautifully decorated by Juniper and Lace Events. It was in fall tones with lots of orange, burgundy, and green. There were candles on the tables and an accent of hanging candles as well. Lucy and Clayton shared a nice evening with their closest friends and family. They shared dinner, ate desert (made by my favorite baker Cakes by Aunt B), and then danced the night away. It was an incredible wedding at Jacob’s Farm, and I’m so happy I got to document the occasion.
