Aubrey + Brandon's Lake Ann Wedding @ The Family Farm
Lake Ann Wedding | Aubrey and Brandon’s A Rustic, Enchanted Affair
Aubrey and Brandon’s wedding was a rustic, enchanted affair that took place on the family farm in Lake Ann, Michigan. In facThe ceremony was held in a field with hay bales and a wooden arch. Guests were transported between the ceremony and reception in horse-drawn carriages. The wedding party also made their grand entrances from a horse drawn carriage. Finally Aubrey made her appearance with her dad. He helped Aubrey off the carriage and down the aisle to her soon-to-be husband.
Aubrey wore a stunning white tulle gown with a flowing train with her cowgirl boots poking out as she’d walk. Her hair was styled in an intricate updo by Whitney form Team Hair and Beauty. Brandon held true to his country roots with jeans and a nice suit jacket with cowboy boots to polish off the look. He and Aubrey exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family.
Aubrey and Brandon’s Lake Ann wedding included the horses throughout the day.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed the company of each other while waiting for the couple to take their family photos. The reception was held in a large tent, which was decorated with twinkling lights, tulle, greenery, and flowers.
Some of the best speeches of my career were shared. A heartfelt toast from the maid of honor, and dad of the bride, then a round of laughter when a contract she had to sign was presented by Brandon’s best friend granting “custody of Brandon to the boys for the following dates:”
- Opening day of any major hunting or fishing season.
- Minimum of one weekend per month.
- Minimum of 7 days for an out of state hunting trip once per year.
Aubrey was signing when her mom shouted, “we want an addendum. Kids!”
More laughter.
Guests dined on a delicious buffet style meal. They danced the night away to a dj who was eager to play any requested songs.
The newlyweds shared their first dance as husband and wife, and the celebration continued late into the evening. A golden glow ushered everyone out of the tent to socialize while they observed this spectacular show of color. Brandon smoked cigars smoked cigars with his guys, and a dummy was out to be roped as the golden orange sunset provided a stunning backdrop for the festivities.
Aubrey and Brandon’s wedding in Lake Ann was a beautiful and memorable event.
