Chris and Cait have many memories of their summers together on the Nauti-Cat.

It makes sense, since Chris is one of the captains on this catamaran that hosts people for cruises on the Grand Traverse Bay. If you haven’t done a cruise on the Nauti-Cat I highly suggest you do it at least once. While this was the last cruise for the summer of 2021, they’ll be back at it next spring. I can’t wait to join for another cruise on the bay, drinking Cat-Nips (their signature mixed drink), and enjoying the view surrounded by a small group of others there having just as much fun.

While typically, there’s are groups that go out on cruises, Cait would often accompany Chris whenever she could, and sometimes even brought the dogs along for the ride too. It was only weeks earlier that Chris proposed to Cait on board while enjoying a sunrise cruise with her family and the pups. When it came to engagement photos, they knew they wanted them to be on The Nauti-Cat, where they already had so many amazing memories together. The Nauti Cat

It was before the sun rose that we met at the parking lot, then boarded the Nauti-Cat for our sunrise cruise.

Today was different that usual, we had the Nauti-Cat to ourselves. Chris and Cait manned the boat, getting us all set up to go. Once we were out on the water we looked out to see the sun begin to peek over the water, casting warm glow. It was a perfect morning. Actually, it ended up being one of the last warm mornings of our late summer, where we didn’t feel that we needed coats on the water. I always love being out on a boat when I don’t have to bundle up to withstand a chilly breeze.
