Traverse City Winter Proposal | Andrew Proposes to Alexis on a Snowy Michigan Day
Andrew and I coordinated for the perfect Traverse City winter proposal to his girlfriend Alexis.
How fitting was it, it even snowed with a typical moody Michigan sky. While it was chilly and windy, the weather was exactly what I had hoped for as far as lighting goes. An evenly diffused day by the clouds, and some pretty white flakes to sprinkle down on us.
I hid beside Andrew and Alexis’ hotel on the Grand Traverse Bay and waited for them to go down to the water “for a selfie.” Little did Alexis know, that selfie was my signal that Andrew was about to propose. So I moved closer without her seeing and captured the most beautiful photos of their winter proposal. Of course Alexis said, “yes!”
I announced my presence, took a few photos of them on the coastline, and then we headed to our cars to warm up and head downtown Traverse City for a mini-engagement session before they go out for drinks and dinner. The snow was gentle, yet consistent for our session. I loved the little flakes in our photos as we walked around the buildings and did a loop for a diverse album of photos.
